Sufficiency test

What is the Sufficiency test?

It is a written exam. You may be asked to present or support a topic to demonstrate your knowledge and competence. It is done by 2 teachers chosen by the school director or the department head.

Authorized by:

It is authorized by the director of the school or department to which the subject to be validated belongs. Ex: if it is English, it belongs to the Language school.

Requirements:

1. Meet the prerequisites. Ex: Calculus 2 requires having taken Calculus 1. You cannot request proficiency for Calculus 2 without having passed Calculus 1.

2. The course must be eligible for retake. Ex: If it is a laboratory, it is not possible.

3. You must have paid the rights to take the exam. Around: 120,000 COP

Restrictions:

1. You can only take it once per subject.

2. You can only take 2 sufficiency exams per semester.
